Five stages with review cycles planned in rather than absorbed at the end.
We ask who reviews this before we ask who uses it. Interviews with users, and a map of who has to approve the screens. In a regulated product the approval path shapes the schedule more than the feature list.
Flows and permissions together. Where things live, what happens next, and who is allowed to see it. Separating those causes rework, so they are decided in one pass.
Screens with every state and every role. High-fidelity interfaces built from components, including the permission-denied and partial-access views, with contrast checked as we go.
A library your engineers build from. Named components, tokens and written responsive rules, handed over in a working session with an approval record attached.
Usability testing on the built product. Testing with real users after it ships, then a short list of fixes ranked by cost and gain, run through the same review path.
