Then month seven arrives. The sales deck has invented its own blue. A new starter is pulling colours out of a screenshot.
The mark is about a tenth of the work. The rest is the system holding it up. A type scale at real sizes, colour pairings that pass contrast, lockups for awkward placements.
You see one direction, not three. You get the route we recommend, the reasoning, and the territories we set aside. Then we iterate until it is right.
What you actually receive
- ✓One direction, with the rejected routes shown
- ✓A logo suite for every real placement
- ✓Colour pairings tested to WCAG AA
- ✓Rules a new starter can follow
- ✓Source files and font licensing in your name

03Process
Our brand identity process.
A designer is in the positioning workshop, not reading the notes afterwards.
01ResearchWeek 1
Position before you draw. Stakeholder interviews, a category audit and a positioning workshop, with the designer present throughout. It ends in a written brief you sign off. That brief is what we are held to later.
02DirectionWeek 2–3
One route, and what we set aside. The recommended territory is applied to real touchpoints, so you judge it in context. We present it with the reasoning and the alternatives we rejected. You respond to an argument rather than a wall of options.
03SystemWeek 4–6
Rules that outlast us. The direction becomes a logo suite, colour system, type scale, templates and written guidelines. This is the part that decides whether the brand is still one thing next year.
04LaunchFinal week
Handed over, not dropped off. A recorded walkthrough with the people who will apply it daily. Launch collateral produced. And the first assets your team makes are reviewed before they go out of the door.
05Hold the lineOngoing
Six months later, the real test. Optional check-ins. We audit what your team has produced against the guidelines, then update the rules where reality has outgrown them.
Stage 02 · Direction

04Included
What we deliver.
01One direction, argued in full
The route we recommend, applied to real touchpoints. You also see what we rejected, and iteration is included.
02A logo suite, not a single file
Primary, stacked, horizontal, monogram and reversed, with clear-space rules for each placement.
03Naming support where you need it
Territory work, shortlisting and screening guidance. It runs alongside the identity, so the two match.
04Colour tested for contrast
Pairings are checked to WCAG AA before they reach an interface. A brand nobody can read is failing.
05Guidelines people actually use
Plain English, clear do and do-not examples, sane file naming. Not a PDF nobody opens twice.
06Every source file transferred
Illustrator and Figma sources, plus font licensing in your name. IP is assigned on payment.
Illustrator · Figma · InDesign · After Effects · Type licensing · WCAG AA · Pantone · Print production
05The work
Identity, interface and packaging work, the published examples live in the portfolio.
What we design.

Design that has a job to do.
Identity, interface and packaging, made to be used.
- ✓Brand identity and logo systems
- ✓UI and UX for web and product
- ✓Packaging and print
- ✓Campaign and social design
Design work is usually delivered inside a client brand rather than as a case study of its own. The storefronts in the portfolio are the clearest public example of the same team’s design decisions in the wild.

Why brands choose Syscodes.
direction, iterated
One direction, with the argument
The route we recommend, the reasoning, and what we rejected. You buy a decision, not a vote.
deliverables
A system, not a logo file
Lockups, scales, pairings, templates and rules. This is why it still holds after we leave.
standard
Contrast tested, not assumed
Colour pairings are checked to WCAG AA. That happens before they ship to a screen or a shelf.

How long does a logo and brand identity project take?
A logo suite with core colour and type takes three to four weeks. A full identity runs five to eight weeks. That covers positioning, the system and the guidelines. Adding the rollout takes longer.
Why do you only present one logo direction?
Because the other two were never real. Everybody in the room knows it. You get the direction we recommend, applied in context. You also see the routes we rejected. Iteration is included.
Do we own the logo files and fonts?
Yes. Illustrator and Figma sources are transferred. Font licensing is registered in your name. IP is assigned on payment, with no ongoing fee.
Should we rebrand or just refresh what we have?
We audit first, then tell you honestly which one fits your goal. If the recognition you have is worth keeping, a refresh protects it. If the identity holds the business back, rebrand.
Do you do naming as well as identity?
We support it. Territory work, shortlisting and screening guidance run alongside the identity. The name and the mark are designed together. Deep trademark work goes to a specialist.
What affects the cost of logo design in India?
How many places the mark has to work. A logo for a website and an invoice is a smaller job than one that also has to hold on packaging, a hoarding, embroidery and a 48-pixel avatar. Rounds of exploration, and whether a full identity system follows, account for most of the rest. We have set the whole thing out in what logo design costs in India.
Where are you based, and can you work with us outside Kolkata?
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. We have delivered in 20+ countries across five continents, and we commit to four guaranteed overlap hours with US Eastern (18:30–22:30 IST), with a full overlap for the UK and Europe. The names are in the contract.
