iOS app development that earns the home screen.
Native Swift and SwiftUI for iPhone and iPad, designed around the first session and tested on the oldest device you still support. Submitted so review passes the first time.
Our approach to iOS app development.
iOS looks like the easy platform. One vendor, a handful of screen sizes, users who spend more. Then the first submission comes back rejected over a permission string nobody wrote, and the launch slips two weeks.
We treat App Store review as part of the build rather than a gate at the end. Privacy manifests, tracking permission and account deletion are decided in week one, because each of them can force a rework if they arrive late. The same goes for the platform decision itself: we scope native Swift and React Native side by side and let the requirements settle it, which is why roughly a third of the apps we ship are not native at all.
The other half of the job is the first session. Almost nobody deletes an app because of a bug. They delete it because the first ninety seconds gave them nothing worth keeping.
What we settle before writing Swift
iOS app development services we offer.
Native, hybrid or iPad. What the app has to do on the device decides which of these is right.
Native iOS apps
Swift and SwiftUI against the current SDK. The right answer when the app leans on the camera, background location, HealthKit or on-device processing.
12–16 weeksHybrid iOS apps
One React Native or Flutter codebase for iPhone and Android, with Swift written only where the hardware demands it. Cheaper to run when both stores need the same product.
10–14 weeksExplore hybrid app developmentiPad and universal apps
One build that behaves like an iPad app rather than a stretched phone screen. Split views, keyboard shortcuts, pointer support and multitasking.

Scope cut, platform decided.
Interviews, a competitive read and one hard prioritisation session. Native Swift and React Native are both scoped and costed, so the platform gets decided on requirements rather than preference.
The first ninety seconds, drawn first.
Onboarding and the first session before anything else, because that is where installs are lost. Screens follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, so the app feels like an iPhone app rather than a website in a wrapper.
Swift, in two-week slices.
Working builds every fortnight, each one installable on your own phone. Privacy manifest, tracking permission and account deletion go in as they are built rather than being bolted on before submission.
Through review the first time.
Store listing, screenshots at every required size, the privacy questionnaire and the review notes that stop an avoidable rejection. We submit, we answer review, and we do not hand you a rejection to interpret.
Two weeks of cover, then your call.
Fourteen days of post-launch cover included: crash triage, review responses and the first data on where people drop out. A retainer afterwards is optional, and plenty of clients do not take one.
What we build on iOS.
iPhone and iPad work, described honestly. The published examples are in the portfolio.
iPhone and iPad work, end to end.
Consumer apps, internal tools, and the backends underneath them.
- Native Swift and SwiftUI apps
- iPad and universal builds
- React Native with native iOS modules
- APIs, integrations and data pipelines
Much of our app work sits under an NDA. Everything in the portfolio was built by the same engineers and is live right now, go and prod it.

We design the first session
Time to first value is a spec item with a number against it. That is where installs are lost, long before anyone finds a bug.
90sto first valueReview is part of the build
Privacy manifest, tracking permission and account deletion are decided in week one. Each of them can force a rework if it arrives at submission instead.
Week 1review items settledWe will talk you out of native
Native Swift is not always right. We scope both routes and cost them, and a third of the apps we ship turn out not to be native at all.
2routes always costedTested on real, older hardware
On the oldest iPhone you still support, not only the simulator on a new Mac. A four-year-old device is still most of somebody's install base.

The person in your scoping call writes the Swift. Nothing is handed down to someone you have never spoken to.

What iOS app development
costs, and what shapes it.
What an iOS app costs depends on its scope, not on a price list. Every engagement is scoped individually after a free consultation, and the written proposal carries the number.
iPhone MVP
- One defined v1, iPhone only
- Swift or React Native, costed both ways
- Submission handled by us
- Analytics wired before launch
Native iOS build
- Swift and SwiftUI
- iPhone and iPad in one codebase
- Privacy manifest and permissions
- Store review handled
iOS and Android together
- One React Native codebase
- Native Swift where the hardware needs it
- Both stores, one release train
- Cheaper to run than two native apps

hello@syscodes.in+91 70034 16634Book a 30-min callThere is no price list, because the number is set by scope rather than by platform. A single-purpose iPhone MVP and a native app with offline sync, background location and a backend behind it are different projects by an order of magnitude. We scope every engagement after a free consultation and put the figure in a written proposal, along with what would move it.
Twelve to sixteen weeks is typical for a native Swift build, and ten to fourteen for React Native. Your team installs the first TestFlight build in week five, so you are using the thing long before it ships. App Store review itself usually adds one to two weeks.
It depends on what the app asks of the phone. Camera work, background location, HealthKit, on-device processing and heavy animation point to native Swift. A product that is mostly screens, forms and data, and that needs Android too, is usually better served by one React Native codebase with Swift written only where the hardware demands it. We scope and cost both routes before you decide, and roughly a third of the apps we ship are not native.
That is what we plan for, and we handle the submission ourselves rather than handing you a rejection to interpret. The items that cause avoidable rejections are settled in week one: the privacy manifest, tracking permission, account deletion, permission strings that explain themselves, and a demo account for the reviewer.
Yes, and properly. An iPad build is not a stretched phone screen: it means split views, keyboard shortcuts, pointer support and multitasking. Whether it is worth doing is a scoping question, and for a lot of consumer apps the honest answer is that it is not.
You do, both, from the first commit. The app is published under your organisation's Apple Developer account rather than ours, and the repository is yours. If you leave us, nothing about the listing has to move and no transfer is needed.
We agree the oldest version in week one, and it is a business decision rather than a technical one. Supporting one more version back costs testing time and constrains which APIs we can use, so it is worth checking your own analytics before deciding rather than defaulting to the widest possible range.
Fourteen days of cover is included: crash triage, responses to store reviews, and the first read on where new users drop out. A retainer after that is optional and plenty of clients do not take one. If you do, it is the same engineers, not a support desk.
Yes. We have delivered in 23 countries across five continents, and we commit to four guaranteed overlap hours with US Eastern (18:30–22:30 IST), with a full overlap for the UK and Europe. The names are in the contract.
