What does an iOS app cost in Kolkata?
There is no price list, because scope sets the number rather than the platform. A single-purpose iPhone app and one with offline sync, background location and a backend behind it differ by an order of magnitude. We scope it after a free consultation and put the figure in writing, along with what would move it.
Can we meet your iOS team before we commit?
Yes, and more clients do than you would expect. Our office is at Om Tower on Chowringhee Road, right beside Park Street metro. Scoping sessions and design reviews happen across a desk, and you can see who is actually going to write the Swift.
How long does an iPhone app take to build?
Ten to fourteen weeks for most first releases, with your team installing the first TestFlight build in week five. App Store review usually adds one to two weeks, which is worth putting in the plan rather than discovering at the end.
Should we build native Swift or cross-platform?
It depends on what the app asks of the phone. Camera work, background location, HealthKit, on-device processing and heavy animation point to native Swift. A product that is mostly screens, forms and data, and that needs Android too, is usually better served by one React Native codebase with Swift only where the hardware demands it. We cost both before you decide.
Will the app pass App Store review the first time?
That is what we plan for, and we handle the submission ourselves. The items that cause avoidable rejections are settled in week one: the privacy manifest, tracking permission, account deletion, permission strings that explain themselves, and a demo account for the reviewer.
Who owns the code and the Apple Developer account?
You do, both, from the first commit. The app is published under your organisation's Apple Developer account rather than ours, and the repository is yours. If you leave us, nothing about the listing has to move.
